The “Hyve” in our name is the Finnish word for virtue. We believe in acting virtuously with all the work that we do. Living up to this standard wouldn’t be possible without a crew of employees who believe in doing the right thing—every single time. Doing the right thing for our clients is at the cornerstone of everything that we do.

 

There’s a reason why our crew and our clients are important values of Digital Hyve: without our diverse crew of marketers, and the clients who are constantly inspiring us to be better every day, there would be no Digital Hyve. Our crew is important, and each member brings a different set of skills to the table while contributing to our company’s culture. Introducing Sarynna, our Senior Account Manager!

 

1.    What initially drew you to marketing? What brought you to Digital Hyve?

I love the fact that it’s ever-changing and you can express yourself through it. Being at a company that was so new and growing was the biggest pull for me. 20 additional crew members later I don’t regret joining Digital Hyve for a second!

 

2.    Which of our values do you identify with the most and why? (DH Crew, Clients, Integrity, Passion, Better Every Day)

This is such a cliché answer, but all of them! To work at Digital Hyve you have to embody all of our values and that’s a big part of why our team is so successful. But if I had to pick one it would have to be clients. The best part of my job is getting to know my clients and building relationships with them.

 

3.    What does your day to day look like at Digital Hyve?

My day to day consists of working with the internal teams, talking with clients, implementing strategy and everything in between! To sum it all up, juggling a ton of tasks at once. J

 

4.    What type of marketing excites you? Why?

Emotional branding. I connect the most with brands that appeal to my day to day life. Some of my favorites include: Dove, Aerie, Nike and Under Armour’s Misty Copeland commercial.

 

5.    The three best words to describe you?

I had trouble picking, so I asked 3 of the people closest to me to give one word that comes to mind when they think of me: intense, ambitious and loyal.

 

6.    What motto or personal mantra do you live by?

Everything happens for a reason! I am a firm believer that obstacles are placed in our lives to help us grow and become better people.

 

7.    Any pet peeves we should know about?

Hmm I would have to say my biggest ones are the sound of people chewing and bad manners!

 

8.    Speaking of pets…you’ve talked about how you had some unique ones growing up. Can you name a few?

Oh man… we had everything growing up. We owned everything from rabbits, dogs, reptiles and flying squirrels!

 

9.    Say you’re having a bad day—what do you do to pull yourself out of it?

Go to the gym to lift or hang out with my dog! Both can always turn my mood around pretty quick.

 

10.What would you list as the top 3 highlights of your life so far?

I have so many! But I would have to say giving my graduating class speech at my college graduation in front of my family, marrying my husband and adopting our dog Nala.
