Manager of Account Services – Syracuse

The Manager of Account Services is responsible for supporting the Director of Account Services in the day-to-day leadership of the Account Management team. S/he will be both internal and external-facing and is required to develop exceptional relationships to further Digital Hyve’s success.

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Helps lead a team of the best Account Managers/Coordinators in the industry
  • Helps set and fulfill, measurable departmental goals
  • Fosters a strong relationship between Account Management team and Business Development team, ensuring seamless transition between salesperson and account manager with every new account
  • Work with Account Management team to bring creative solutions to clients
  • Have a deep understanding of all client work occurring at all times, and manage the interdepartmental and external facing efficiencies of that work
  • Mentor and develop team, directing them how to implement strategic solutions to both client and internal challenges
  • Foster knowledge-sharing across all disciplines internally to ensure collaborative and informed work
  • Discover, implement, and train valuable 3rd party tools into the planning process
  • Create an effective process and information flow between client services team and other disciplines
  • Contribute to clients’ business growth by identifying new and innovative opportunities, while also contributing to new campaign strategies
  • Foster a productive and empowering working culture
  • Provide team with all necessary tools and training to improve core expertise and continued career growth
  • Support the analysis of current and projected revenue trends that will be presented to the leadership team

 

The qualifications we’re looking for in a Manager of Account Services:

  • 5-10 years of experience in advertising industry required
  • Agency background is highly preferred
  • A strong digital marketing knowledge is highly preferred
  • Exceptional client-facing skills
  • Experience in growing, managing and inspiring internal teams; strong leadership and organizational skills must be complemented by relationship building management style
  • Perform senior-level client negotiation and management skills, with clear and substantive speaking, writing and presentation skills
  • Is logical, work-oriented and an analytical thinker; effective problem solver
  • Proven track record of attention to detail
  • Superior multi-tasking and decision-making skills; proven success in high-pressure and deadline- focused situations
  • Proactive, future-oriented thinking is a must
