Where to begin? The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of excitement for Digital Hyve. We are beyond humbled and honored to be able to announce that we have won three awards.
We’re more excited than Ron Swanson at an all-you-can-eat steakhouse. If you haven’t watched Parks and Rec (and we strongly suggest that you do) that means we’re really excited.
The CenterState CEO Business of the Year Award
More than 50 Upstate New York Businesses were nominated for this prestigious award, which covers four categories: Businesses with over 50 employees, businesses with under 50 employees, non-profit business, and minority-owned business.
Digital Hyve won the award for business of the year for the under 50 employees division. We were honored to be considered a finalist along with CPS Recruitment and Roth Industries of North America. Companies are selected based on customer satisfaction, financial performance, innovation, employee satisfaction and commitment to the community.
The winners are announced at CenterState CEO’s Annual Meeting, which was held on April 27th at the OnCenter in downtown Syracuse. Our whole crew was fortunate enough to be able to attend and receive the award. The theme of this year’s meeting was “break through,” exploring how businesses and communities can “surmount challenges and seize opportunities with a bolder vision for the future.”
It’s a theme that is close to our hearts here at Digital Hyve. We take our core values seriously. We believe in putting people first, and apply this principle to both our employees and our clients. We work with passion, integrity and creativity—using our combined experience and brave, forward thinking strategies to produce the best results for our clients.
2017 CNY Best Places to Work Winner
On May 3rd the 5th Annual CNY Best Places to Work Winners were announced, and we were humbled yet again to be chosen as a winner for the 5 to 50 Employees category.
This award is presented by the Business Journal News Network, and consists of three categories: 5-50 employees, 51 to 150 employees and over 150 employees. The number of participants were doubled this year, making us even more honored that our business was considered.
One of our sayings here is “better every day.” We work hard to learn more and improve ourselves every day so we can get the best results possible for our clients. The people that make up our crew are fully committed to living and working by that sentiment—and it shows. We care about our employees and believe in investing in them. After all, it’s the people that make a place special and form the culture of a company. With no crew, there would be no Hyve.
Small Business Excellence Award
They say good things come in threes…and awards are apparently no exception. Just when we thought we’d reached the peak of our excitement we learned that we were recipients of the Small Business Excellence Award!
This award is presented by the Small Business Administration of New York State. Recipients are selected based on innovation, sales growth, increased employment, the ability to overcome adversity and community contributions. The award was presented at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 19th Annual Small Business Excellence Awards Luncheon on May 5th. While it’s hard to put into words how thankful we are for this recognition, we think our co-founder Jeff Knauss says it best:
